Dr. Coy Barker, Senior Pastor - an internationally known orator and author, is the founder of Elevation Point. Dr. Barker, a Hollis, Oklahoma native, recognized God’s call on his life to enter the ministry at the young age of 16. He began his ministry as Senior Pastor at a church in Nashville, Tennessee. During his service at this church, Dr. Barker oversaw the development and building of the church’s new sanctuary due to membership growth from approximately 20 people to over 1,600 within five and a half years.
Dr. Barker then served as Senior Pastor to a church in Montgomery, Alabama, where, under his leadership the church grew from 120 people to 1,800 in five and a half years. From Alabama, God then led Dr. Barker to pastor a church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While serving God at this church, Dr. Barker was blessed to see the church body grow from 300 people to over 3,000 with a development of 135 cell groups within nine years.
Dr. Barker, having attended Berean Bible College of Springfield, Missouri and Southern California Seminary is a trainer of pastors and leaders in God’s Kingdom. He has developed several churches overseas and through his preaching of God’s Word has been a blessing to many ministries across America and to many nations worldwide. Dr. Barker has been involved in national and international television for at least 25 of the 38 years he has served in ministry.
In the early 90s the Lord moved Dr. Barker to Georgia where he continued his calling to reach the unchurched. In 1993, he founded “Metro World Outreach Center”, a multicultural, nondenominational church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Dr. Barker and his wife, Dee, together minister to critical issues affecting individuals’ social and spiritual development. They have now, along with their son, Dustin, birthed the ministry of Elevation Point, where their goal is to minister to the entire family.
Dr. Dee Barker - Co-Pastor - A Psalmist who carries a mantle fashioned for leading true worshippers into the throne room; Dee Barker defines resilience through unbroken focus and is a prodigy of unending pursuit for God’s destiny.Born in Glens Falls, New York, and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, she began ministering through song at the age of seven (7) years where her hunger grew for winning the lost for Christ.
She attended the Palm Beach Atlantic College and served in the legal field as a professional assistant specializing in litigation, criminal defense and domestic issues. Through this journey, Dee witnessed numerous cases of abused women and saw a significant increase in teenage pregnancy. Being a victim herself of a broken home, divorce and religious traditions, she was inspired to see a move of God in the church that would break the bondage of hopelessness.
In preparation for her calling, Dee worked as a Church Administrator while grasping the fundamentals of maintaining a successful ministry. During that time, she released her first album, “Right Now Is The Right Time”, with appearances on TBN, TV 16 (WGGS), and TV 57 (WATC).
Today, she Co-Pastors and heads the Music Ministry at Elevation Point. She is on the verge of releasing her second album and is truly a powerful gift to other women in ministry. She has been anointed to bring restoration by imparting love, compassion and truth through her “Women of Worth” initiative. Here the importance of becoming and achieving ones best is emphasized.
Dee’s goal is to build a home for unwed mothers between the ages of 13 – 18 years. Her vision is to create an atmosphere of hope where they are taught the truth of God’s Word and are encouraged to make positive choices.
Dustin and Kristin Barker, Executive Pastor - Dustin Barker is a designer, pastor, talker, and Apple fan boy. Dustin’s passion rests in serving as Executive Pastor at Elevation Point Church, where they exist to connect people to God and Others. He also spends a lot of time running the web/graphic design business he founded in 2007, DBGlobalDezign. In September of 2011, Dustin and Kristin were married (You can watch the wedding highlight here), and they now live in Loganville.

Phinizy III and Tori Bush, Minister of Music - A native New Yorker born and raised in Westchester County. Phinizy has been a musican his entire life as he was born with the gift of Ministering in Music. Phinizy has utilized his God given talents of playing drums, keyboards, organ in addition to song writing to lift up the Name of the Lord. Sentoria Bush is his lovely wife and best friend. They have four incredible children. Having relocated to Georgia five years ago, he is now part of the Elevation Point family. Phinizy has dedicated his gift to God; and he is continually seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead the Music Ministry at Elevation Point to a higher level of excellence in Christ.
